1. Who We Are

ProperProps is a sports data and analytics website focused on NBA and WNBA player props, odds data, schedules, statistics, and related tools.

2. No User Accounts

ProperProps does not currently require user accounts. We do not collect account credentials or payment details through the website.

If you contact us by email, you voluntarily provide the contact information and other content included in your message.

3. Information We Process

When you request a page, image, or API response, ProperProps and its hosting provider process technical request information needed to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and operate the service. This may include your IP address, request date and time, requested URL and query parameters, HTTP method and response status, browser or user-agent information, referring origin, and security or diagnostic information. A requested URL or query may reflect the league, date, game, or player you selected.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, message, and attachments. We use it to respond to and administer your request.

If you choose to enable Analytics, Google Analytics may additionally collect:

• Pages viewed, including page URLs and query strings
• Time and date of visit
• Browser type
• Device type
• Operating system
• Referring website
• Approximate location, such as country or city
• Interactions with pages and features
• Cookies or similar identifiers

Google Analytics receives an IP address when a measurement request is made. Google states that GA4 uses the raw address at collection for functions such as approximate location and routing, then discards it before the address is logged.

ProperProps displays certain team logos and player images from NBA and WNBA content-delivery networks, including cdn.nba.com and cdn.wnba.com. When your browser loads or connects to those services, they receive ordinary technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the requested asset, and referrer where applicable. These operational requests are separate from the optional Analytics and Affiliate tracking choices.

If you choose to enable Affiliate tracking and then open a bookmaker link, the relevant affiliate network and bookmaker receive the referral identifier and ordinary request information sent when your browser opens another website.

4. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is optional. ProperProps does not load the Google Analytics tag or send Analytics measurement data unless you consent to the Analytics category. If enabled, we use it to understand how visitors use ProperProps and to improve the site's design, performance, and features.

Google Analytics 4 may use first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google states that these cookies last for up to two years by default, although their duration may be affected by browser settings, deletion, or configuration changes.

We use Google Analytics for analytics purposes only. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. We do not use Analytics to accept bets, process gambling transactions, or intentionally identify individual visitors.

You can withdraw Analytics consent at any time through Cookie Settings. This prevents future analytics collection on ProperProps and we will attempt to remove Google Analytics cookies from our domain.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies include cookies, local storage, and session storage in your browser. ProperProps uses them in the following categories:

• Necessary (always active): stores your consent choices and supports core site functions. Browser storage may also remember settings or features that you request, such as timezone, time and odds formats, selected or recent players, parlay stakes, and whether you have dismissed an on-site notice. These values are used to provide the requested functionality, not to track you across websites.
• Analytics (optional): allows Google Analytics to measure visits and feature use. It remains off until you consent.
• Affiliate tracking (optional): allows ProperProps to use a tracked referral link when you choose to open a bookmaker. It remains off until you consent.

Our bookmaker images and banners are hosted by ProperProps, so merely viewing them does not contact an affiliate network. When Affiliate tracking is enabled and you click a bookmaker link, we use a tracked referral link and may receive compensation if you later sign up or deposit. When Affiliate tracking is declined, the link uses a direct bookmaker destination without a ProperProps referral identifier.

Rejecting Analytics or Affiliate tracking does not prevent you from using ProperProps' core features. You can review or change your choices at any time through Cookie Settings. You may also delete stored data through your browser settings.

6. How We Use Information and Our Legal Bases

We use collected information to:

• Understand how visitors use the website when Analytics is enabled
• Improve website design and performance
• Find and fix technical issues
• Measure which pages and features are useful when Analytics is enabled
• Administer and measure referrals and commissions when Affiliate tracking is enabled
• Improve sports data tools and user experience
• Protect the website from abuse or technical problems

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for optional Analytics and Affiliate tracking. We process technical requests, security information, and settings you request as necessary to provide the service and for our legitimate interests in operating, protecting, troubleshooting, and improving ProperProps.

We do not use this information to accept bets, process gambling transactions, or identify individual betting behavior.

7. How We Share Information

Render hosts the ProperProps website and public API and processes technical request and log information on our behalf. Render's privacy policy:

NBA and WNBA content-delivery networks receive requests for the externally hosted logos and player images described above. The NBA Family privacy policy, which covers the NBA and WNBA:

If you enable Analytics, Google processes limited website-usage information through Google Analytics to help us understand and improve the website.

If you enable Affiliate tracking and click an applicable bookmaker link, your browser first opens a tracked URL operated by CommissionKings for BetOnline, RevMasters for BetUS, or WebPartners for MyBookie. The applicable network and bookmaker receive the referral identifier and ordinary request information and may use cookies under their own policies. They may later provide ProperProps with referral, conversion, and commission reporting. ProperProps may receive compensation if you later sign up or deposit.

Email forwarding and mailbox providers process messages when you contact us by email.

Some service providers may process information outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Their privacy notices describe their processing locations and transfer mechanisms.

ProperProps does not receive your bookmaker password or payment-card details through this website. We do not sell visitor lists or profiles for money.

We do not operate a sportsbook, accept deposits, process withdrawals, or handle betting transactions.

8. Data Retention

Your consent record is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, until you change your choice, clear your browser data, or ProperProps asks you to make a new choice after a material update.

Functional preferences stored in local storage remain until they are overwritten or you clear ProperProps site data in your browser. The offers-notification status stored in session storage is removed when the browser session ends.

Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years by default when Analytics is enabled. Event-level Analytics data is retained under the setting configured in our Google Analytics property and Google's deletion processes. Google currently offers 2-month or 14-month event-data settings for standard GA4 properties; standard aggregated reports are not governed by that same setting.

Affiliate-network and bookmaker retention practices are governed by their own policies after you open their websites.

Affiliate reports available to ProperProps are retained as needed to attribute and reconcile referrals and commissions and to meet applicable record-keeping requirements.

Technical request and access logs are retained for the period available under our active hosting configuration and as needed for security, debugging, and operation, after which they are deleted or overwritten.

Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to respond, administer the request, protect our legal interests, or meet applicable record-keeping requirements.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information processed for ProperProps. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for certain personal information, and to complain to an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.

You may withdraw Analytics or Affiliate tracking consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.

Because ProperProps does not currently use user accounts, we may not be able to identify individual visitors from analytics data alone.

11. Adults Only and Children

ProperProps is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

ProperProps may link to third-party websites, including sportsbooks, data providers, affiliates, or responsible gambling resources. Once you open a third-party website, that site's privacy policy and cookie choices apply. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

When Affiliate tracking is enabled, a bookmaker link contains a referral identifier that allows the affiliate network or bookmaker to attribute a resulting signup or deposit to ProperProps. When Affiliate tracking is declined, ProperProps uses an untagged direct bookmaker link that does not include a ProperProps referral identifier. Declining changes the link ProperProps uses; it does not control cookies or other processing by a bookmaker after you choose to visit its website.

Some ProperProps pages also load NBA or WNBA images from the content-delivery services described in Section 3.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new Last updated date. If a change materially affects an optional purpose, ProperProps will ask you to make a new choice before enabling that optional processing.
