How this worksProperProps stores every official NBA injury report, then matches each player's listed injury status with whether they recorded playing time in the corresponding game.
This provides historical context for the reliability of each listed injury status, overall or filtered by player, team, and more.
- Why timing mattersA player's injury status can change as tipoff gets closer. ProperProps therefore measures the first status, the final status before tipoff, and set checkpoints such as 24 hours, 6 hours, 90 minutes, and 60 minutes before the game.
- What a cutoff meansA 60-minute percentage uses the latest official status known 60 minutes before tipoff. If the NBA did not publish a report at that exact time, we use the most recent status published before it.
- Player-specific viewHoverTap a player's injury status in the report tables to see that exact player at that report-time cutoff, or open Filters to narrow the historical context further.
